Keeping your profile information accurate and up to date is essential for maintaining uninterrupted access to Arkante services. Your personal details are used for account communications, password recovery, and transaction processing. Inaccurate or outdated information may result in restricted account functionality.
This guide explains how to view and update the various components of your Arkante profile.
Editable Profile Fields
The following information can be updated directly from your account settings:
- Display name: The name shown on your dashboard and in communications.
- Email address: Your primary contact email, used for account notifications and password recovery. Changing your email requires verification of both the old and new addresses.
- Phone number: Used for account recovery and optional security notifications.
- Preferred language: Set your interface language preference (currently English and French are supported).
- Time zone: Ensures that timestamps across the platform reflect your local time.
How to Update Your Profile
- Sign in to your Arkante account at auth.arkante.com. You will be redirected to your portal at my.arkante.com.
- Navigate to Settings from the user menu.
- Select the Profile tab.
- Update the fields you wish to change.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Certain changes, such as updating your email address, will trigger a verification step. You will receive a confirmation email at the new address and must click the verification link within 24 hours to complete the update.
Restrictions on Certain Fields
Some profile fields cannot be changed through self-service:
- Legal name: Changes to your legal name require submission of supporting documentation (such as a marriage certificate, court order, or updated government-issued identification). Contact our support team to initiate this process.
- Date of birth: This field is set during account registration and cannot be modified without a formal review. Please contact support if a correction is needed.
- Country of residence: Changing your country of residence may affect your account eligibility and available services. Contact support to discuss implications before requesting this change.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take for profile changes to take effect? Most changes are applied immediately upon saving. Email address changes require verification and may take up to 24 hours to finalize.
Will changing my email address affect my active sessions? No. Your active sessions will remain intact. However, all future communications, including password reset emails and account alerts, will be sent to your new email address once verified.
Can I have multiple email addresses on my account? At this time, each account supports a single primary email address. We recommend using an email address that you check regularly and that is not shared with other individuals.
